We offer two billing models, project based and on demand.
Project based we set a scope, fee and schedule for the project. It is paid in 3 payments of 1/3 each payment paid as a deposit, 50% complete and at project completion. Most projects we have done are bewteeen $1,000 and $5,000 and take from 1 to 3 months.
On Demand reserves a set amount of time for the month and is better is you need help but don't have a specific project in mind.
